  • Kits, new
  • Machine 1 identified by orange Z motor holders
  • Built ok
  • Z settings (FYI: -1.8 is lower than -1.7):
    • PINDA offset:
      • says cable tie height which I measure at 1mm
      • also saw a post saying “Make sure the PINDA is between 0.8 and 1.2 mm higher then the nozzle”
      • I want maximum offset to avoid it dragging on questionable print that might complete otherwise so will try 1.2mm, so set it to 1.2mm then
        • Calibration -> Wizard
        • Then XYZ Calibration = FAIL, is dragging paper when sensing first calibration point
      • Set to just over 1mm then
        • XYZ calibration
        • Level Cabration
        • 1.550mm Textured sheet = PLA good
  • Per https://help.prusa3d.com/en/article/mesh-bed-leveling_112163/ Settings – Mesh bed Leveling:
    • Mesh (3×3 – 7×7)
    • Z-probe nr. (1 – 3 – 5)
    • Magnet comp. (ON / OFF)
  • So some problems with PETG ater a run of successful prints, after recalibration and a bunch of other things found my finger grease had contaminated the textured sheet, a clean with isopropyl and good to go again
Sprial mode 0.3mm draft, 2 bottom layers, yellow = PLA, green = PETG
