    • Approx 4.5TB free of 10TB

    • 2 x Seagate Archive HDD 8TB
    • Approx 200GB free of 7TB

2 above was originally a mirror of 1 but has moved on.

  • DS107e single drive, drive/content unknown
  • QNAP TS409 Turbo, drives/content unknown

 

Used but new to us, arrived 24/5/2018

  • Synology DS212J (192.168.1.90)
    • 2 x 1TB WD Green drives, content wiped
  • Synology DS216SE (192.168.1.102)
    • 2 x 2TB WD Green, content = W33kes files

 

New arrived 25/5/2018

  • 2 x Seagate 12TB IronWolf NAS/Raid drives

Goal

  • Primary server:
    • DS216SE
    • 2 x Seagate IronWolf 12TB drives in RAID 1
  • Trial Replication server for W33kes:
    • DS212J
    • Drives?
  • W7Server:
    • Raid function retired
    • Sell Case + SPM393 + Hot swap caddies
    • (Retain other functionality, just drop file server component)
  • Sell:
    • DS207 + left over drives
    • DS107e + left over drives
    • QNAP TS409 Turbo + left over drives
  • Rationalise various standalone USB drives and put files to be kept onto DS216SE

  1. Copy content of DS216SE to DS212J
    • Mirror Shares structure – DONE
      • ‘MYOB Data’
    • Copy files per each share – DONE
  2. Copy W7Server/w to DS216SE/w
