  • Tidied PSU cable routing
  • Tidied some other cable routing
  • Put back in GTX 1080
  • Removed SSD & put in a new Crucial MX500 1000GB SATA M.2 2280 SSD (CT1000MX500SSD4)
  • Win 10 Home fresh install

20200728 Sourced a used CoolerMaster SilentPro 700W NZ$100

  • Removed GTX 1080 just in case
  • Disconnected SSD power just in case
  • Replaced popped corsair with above Coolermaster PSU
  • Yes running ok

20200728 Corsair PSU Blew Up

  • Before first power up
    • removed dust filters and cleaned off, cleaned chassis fan blades, and generaly dedusted inside case
    • Chassis dust filters very dirty but internally pretty good
    • 1080 fan very little dust
  • Attached mains power, switched on at back of PSU and BANG / FLASH, feckin PSU went pop, now dead

  • DLink Wireless DWA-582 AC1200 Dual Band but no aerials
